Elect Jonel Farmer As Your Ohio Governor
Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow Citizens of Ohio,
It is an honor to stand before you today as a proud son of this great state. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and I have had the privilege of living in cities across our nation—from Detroit to Chicago, Atlanta to Charlotte, Philly to Miami, and Los Angeles. Each of these experiences has shaped my understanding of what it means to be an American and what it means to be an Ohioan.
I want to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our current leaders, Governor Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted. They have done a commendable job for our state. However, I believe that I can bring a fresh perspective and a new energy to the role of governor. I am younger, and I am committed to doing the legwork necessary to ensure that every voice in all 88 counties of Ohio is heard and represented.
In my travels and interactions, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges that many of our communities face. The radicalized Democratic Party has allowed foreign nationals—those not born in the USA—to take jobs away from hardworking Americans. This must stop. I have spoken to immigrants who came to this country legally, and they too believe that we need to take a stand against the 89,000 plus undocumented individuals who are living here Committing discriminatory acts and not respecting any of us not realizing we FBA 's fought for the programs government allow them to use to secure food, housing, cars, driver license, and business loans with no backround or credit checks. They understand that our focus should be on building a better future for all, starting with a safer Ohio.
One thing I know for certain is that the diverse communities of Ohio—Asian, Hispanic, White, Native American, Indian, African, and Black Americans—share a common desire: a safer and more secure Ohio. Together, we can promise equality from law enforcement, work tirelessly to remove potholes, and collaborate with unions to pave our streets. We will fight for better housing and create second chance programs for those who have been wrongfully imprisoned.
We need to enforce harsher immigration laws and empower ICE to do their jobs effectively. We will impose stricter penalties for those who commit crimes and disrupt our communities. Additionally, I will work to secure more funding and grants for businesses, ensuring that our economy thrives.
I believe in free childcare for all Ohio families and accessible medical care for every citizen. I will advocate for a fair tax on farmers to help lower grocery prices, working alongside President Donald J. Trump, and VP JD Vance, and our local senators from both sides of the aisle. Together, we will relaunch factories that were shut down and bought by foreign interests, reinvigorating our economy right here in Ohio, especially in the precious metals sector and car manufacturing industries.
I am committed to being a governor for all Ohioans, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to feel safe, take care of their loved ones, and build generational wealth. We will put high-level education and technology programs in every job and school, reaching every community, whether rural, inner city, or suburban.
As we approach the election in November 2026, I ask for your support. Let us unite for a better Ohio, for a brighter future for all of us. Together, we will create an Ohio where everyone has a chance to succeed, where our communities thrive, and where our children can dream big.
